Use of BAdi ME_DEFINE_CALCTYPE

Hi Experts

We need to changing the condition values of certain custom conditions in MM for selected plants and vendors.

Our intention is not to disturb the other condition values.

1) Any specific ABAP functionality available?

2) Is the BAdi ME_DEFINE_CALCTYPE can be used?

3) Please detail the extent of usage of above BAdi.
