Re: what is the way to generate a random number or serial wise number ?

   Dear Aneesh,

                    I want to just generate a number that will stored in a table against the master information of the employee.  This number should not repeat ever because i have only one way to fetch the information of employee that is number .

Is there any function module to generate this type of number, otherwise i have to found other way.
