I've opened a message with SAP regarding BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_CHANGE removing the SD customer name (both the name on the SD address record in ADRC and table KNA1) when replicating these changes from CRM to ECC. I have created this same program in ECC and tested replication back to CRM. This results in the specified address record being updated in both systems and the SD address entry remaining as is. For the purposes of this program (we are updating zip code, when necessary, and adding the delivery point validation code), these results are adequate.
